From his Secret Weapons appearances - “The Story That Never Ends” in 2015, and 2016’s “X” - Eagles & Butterflies has further refined his layered, complex sound world, and set the scene ablaze with a series of masterful "sketches".

In his own words, the invitation to create an Essential Mix
for the 25th anniversary year of Pete Tong’s iconic BBC Radio 1 show was “something you dream of one day...
when you start your path in electronic music.” To honour the significance of the request Eagles & Butterflies prepared a bespoke mix of 25 unreleased compositions, titled Imitations Of Life. We are thrilled to announce the release of our three favorite sketches.
